Track Name: Sylvia Salvia (Wintersong)
it was quiet in your apartment,
and no one was around,
so you said let’s do whatever
for awhile.

snow was falling outside your window,
and everything turned white.
we were scared there for a minute,
and then it all turned out alright.

‘cause no one saw us,
yeah no one came,
and nothing happened
that we couldn’t contain,
yeah it was perfect for a minute,
and then it all just went
away.
Track Name: Nice Dream (Wintersong 2)
How will we get out of the city
before all the buildings come tumbling down?
And everyone we know or have heard of
is buried beneath the weight of this town.

When we wake up from this nice dream
we'll see everything for what it's become.
When the witch comes back, don't stick out your finger
'cause we both know just what she wants.

You tell me that you know this will pass
but I can't see how you can know that for sure.
I'm not ready to go.
I'm not ready to go.

How is somethin' make outta nothin'?
How are we gonna get back home?
Big black birds came and ate all the bread crumbs
and the witch can smell the meat on our bones.

The window lets in a soft glow,
reflection of streetlights hitting the snow.
I'm not ready to know.
(I'm not ready to know.)

When we wake up from this nice dream,
How are we gonna get back home?
How are we gonna get into heaven
when all of these wicked deeds are shown?

How are we gonna get into heaven?
How are we gonna get back home?
How are we gonna get into heaven?
How are we gonna get back home?
How are we gonna get into heaven?
How will we get out of the city?
Track Name: Deep in the Woods
deep in the woods, there never lived a man
who gave up his children for the sake of his bride,
and they never got lost, so they never got found
by a crooked old woman who tried to cook them in the oven,
while the man and the wife stayed home,
eating lukewarm dinners at the table all alone.
while the man said nothing, the wife prayed, ‘please don’t go.’

and he never forgave her, and she couldn't see why.
while she slept in their bedroom, he would stay up at night
looking for his salvation that wasn’t in sight,
‘cause no one forgives you when you don’t make things right.

and the winter came in cold and fast,
while his last chance at redemption came and passed.
while the man did nothing, the wife thought, ‘this won’t last.’

deep in the woods, there never died a man
with a knife in his chest put there by his own hand,
and he never got lost, so he never got found
by a crooked old woman who had just lost her husband.

and the children came in from the cold,
looking eerily fat, but tired and old.
while the children said nothing, the wife said, “i don’t know.”
